Have you ever had a really fucking shitty day? And you start talking to your friend complaining about why your day was so shitty and her response is, "Why are you complaining when there are so many people out there who have a lot worse lives than you? There are starving children in Africa and homeless people all over the world." This happened to me once, and seriously, it really just really irritated me.
I feel like everyone has a baseline for their life.. Like there are certain things that make a day average, good, or bad and if their day falls below average then they should have a right to be upset with their day. Are you honestly going to tell me that the children of Africa don't ever feel happy? I have seen plenty of smiling African children because frankly in their lives they have a baseline of what is an average day too. Just because they do not have the same things that we have in a day to day life doesn't mean that every one of their days is bad. They have learned to live in their environment and be happy with what they have. Just as I have too.
Now when the above said circumstance happened I wasn't complaining about possessions or unimportant things, just how crappy my day had gone. Not only did my said friend tell me that I should stop complaining because I had food to eat, a shelter over my head, and wasn't living in fear. And also called me an "ignorant bitch". (haha some friend, right?) And frankly, I find no correlation between what I was complaining about and her response. My life, and a the life of someone else's is so different that I don't feel like you can even compare them. I am not saying that people can go about complaining about pointless shit that actually correlates to the things that others don't have but I wasn't even complaining about those. If I remember correctly the things I complained about were something like, my alarm didn't go off making me late, and everything else seemed to go wrong.
This blog makes no sense. I realize that. I have a killed headache that is truly hurting my thinking.

Thursday Tirade
This weeks Thursday Tirade (which I almost forgot to do..) is about the wonderful world of facebook. Oh how I could rant about facebook for hours and hours.
- I was on FB and saw a status in which the person said that they don't understand why people who have kids don't post picture. And it really kind of irritated me because this person has a public page and anyone can come to her page and read what she is posting and see pictures she is posting, and a lot of people do not understand how to set their privacy settings so they are posting things and letting the whole world able to access them. If it were me posting pictures of my child I would not want anyone to be able to access them! I also think it makes a big difference what you use FB for.. I mean are you one of those 18 year old girls who has a child and all of your FB friends are people you go to high school with and probably a few random people you don't even know. Or are you 25, married, and use your FB to stay in touch with close friends, family, and maybe a few old friends from high school? I think it makes a huge difference. Also, posting thousands of pictures of your child, like having an album each month is a little excessive. I get that when you have a child you take thousands of pictures, but does the whole world of FB need to see them?
- Secondly, I cannot stand it when people obsessively post status updates and most of them are expressing intense emotions of their daily frustrations and good moments. Like seriously? As of your FB "friends" I do not want to see more than 1 or 2 posts on my news feed in one day from you. If you need to express your every though, please just a fucking twitter. Besides twitter is way better than FB.
- And my biggest frustration lately with FB is the use of hash tags. Hash tags are used on many sites as a form of being able to use them to search things that have been tagged. For example; on twitter you can use hash tags and then they become a clickable link, and are kept track of and can always appear as trending topics. And on some other sites you can add tags to make them searchable. BUT FB does not have any application of that process, so I hate seeing people using hash tags, because they serve absolutely no purpose except for the fact of people looking like idiots to those who don't even know what hash tags are. If you want to use hash tags get a twitter.
Moral of this tirade: Check your FB privacy settings before going insane with pictures of your children or for that fact, pictures in general. And just get a twitter, it's much cooler than FB.

Thursday Tirade.
(I realize this blog is terrible...I didn't even bother rereading it because it probably makes no sense and then I wouldn't post it, but I needed to post something...so here it is.)
Like my wonderful friend Absolutely Alissa I have decided that I want to do a weekly blog which shall be referred to as Thursday Tirade. (and in case you don't know what tirade means, basically it is a rant..I looked it up in an online thesaurus because I needed a word that meant rant and started with a 't') I feel that I am very good at rants because I am a very opinionated person and I enjoy ranting :)
Lately I seem to be coming across more and more people just plain old not being themselves, and clearly I don't get it. I might not be one of the most outgoing people in the world but that doesn't mean I am not being my self. I am not one to fake who I am just so people like me.. I am not going to pretend to like or dislike something just because everyone else in the group does. I mean why not just be yourself? Are you really that afraid of not being liked that you have to be someone you aren't? I am not going to say that I never acted like someone I am not for that reason, but if I did it was probably in high school and frankly, in high school I was a hell of a different person than I am now. There are a lot more important things in life than being liked by everyone. I mean honestly, what is the point of pretending to like things if you really don't? It's just stupid.
I may not be the most confident or secure person in the world, and I understand that pretending to maybe like something might make you feel a little better about yourself. But if you go through your entire life just pretending to fit in with people sooner or later you will lose touch entirely with who you are. I mean you might think you know exactly who you are but, deep down, you have no fucking idea who you are. You are the only you out there, so why pretend to be someone else. Just be yourself, and if your friends don't accept you then you have some pretty shitty friends, find some new ones.. but honestly, if they are your true friends, they aren't going to give two shits about it. No one wants to be friends with someone who is exactly like them because that would just get annoying. Be unique because that will be what makes you who you are.
Moral of this tirade: be yourself and don't give a fuck what people think. :)

My Dream Home
Do you watch the HGTV network? I do, all the time. It's probably one of my go to channels when nothing else is on. And of course, every little bit of home education helps me with the designing of my future home.
I know that I briefly mentioned my future home in an earlier blog, and this blog is going to be very detailed, in depth blog about it. I have included some floor plans that I found that closely resemble something that I think I want. Obviously it's not perfectly what I want but it's a good starting point.

So let's begin.
First of all the exterior of my home will most definitely not be vinyl siding..I have not decided what I want it to be yet, but let me assure you, no vinyl siding will be on it anywhere. It is going to have a courtyard style garage, which are styles like the homes below.

As you enter my lovely home you enter to a two story foyer with either a catwalk that also overlooks the dining and formal living room area. The picture below depict two story foyers.

And as for the kitchen, a breakfast nook with a window seat is a must have in my home. And a big kitchen because someday I will be able to cook wonderfully and I need a large kitchen to use. Also, I want an open kitchen to the dining area and formal living room. I used to never want a formal living room but for the high lifestyle I will be living I need to formal sitting area for the all entertaining I will be doing in my house. (hahaha) Also, there will be a half bathroom somewhere throughout this area.
The family room/den needs to be a sunken room, which to me just means you have to take like 2 or 3 steps down to it. I like the cozy feel it gives the room and it adds character to a home. I included a picture of this as well, but I want my family room to not be so open and bright, I like the idea of a very cozy room for the family room.
And lastly, my guest suite will also be on the main floor. The main purpose I am having a guest suite is so my friend Absolutely Alissa has somewhere to stay when she comes to visit me with her family :) And I suppose it can also serve a use for when parents come to visit. The guest suite will include a bedroom, full bathroom, a kitchenette and dining area, and a sitting area.
Now we will take the gorgeous stairwell to the second floor. I want my second floor to have a loft, which overlooks the first floor, and will serve as a very useful space for whatever it is needed for. Also upstairs will be a master suite, 3 additional bedrooms, and possibly an office space. There isn't really much to add for the details on the 3 bedrooms, but two of the rooms will have a jack and jill bathroom, and will obviously be the rooms for the two girls. Also there will be another full bathroom on the floor.
After watching a lot of shows on HGTV I have realized that I want it all for my master suite. I want a huge bedroom with a sitting area by a large window area. An outdoor patio would be great too. I want his and hers walk in closets and mine needs to be HUGE. And I want a HUGE bathroom with his and hers sinks, a vanity area, separate tub and shower.

Also I will have a finished basement with a bar area and entertainment space. A couple other possible ideas for basement rooms are another additional bedroom, home theater room.

A few more things my home will include are an outdoor pool, which may be enclosed since I will probably be living in WI still and want to use my pool in the winter time. Since I am considering having a low key side job of my photography in the future I might have an attachment on my house for a photography studio.
Lastly I would just like to mention that I plan on my house being on a 1-2 acre lot, probably on the edge of a town or something. And as you read this blog I realize how extreme my house seems, but let me assure you, it's going to be a beautiful home.

Fake Fans.
Just because you live in Wisconsin doesn't mean you need to take your ignorant self and pretend to be a Brewers fan, especially when you don't know a damn thing about baseball. Two things took place this year in the world of Brewers Baseball that made a lot of people jump on the Brewers bandwagon.
The first thing was that the Brewers had an AMAZING season becoming the 2011 NL Central Champs, and being incredibly close to the world series only to be beaten, yet again, by the Cardinals. And as the Brewers kept growing closer and closer to clinching their division for the playoffs, more and more people kept jumping right on the bandwagon. All these people would watch bits of the games and pretend like they knew what was happening and as the Brewers would fall behind they would take to their facebooks and twitters ranting about the Brewers doing awful. And frankly, it annoyed me. These people felt like because they were from Wisconsin they suddenly needed to jump on the bandwagon and pretend that they had been fans all along. Just because you're from Wisconsin doesn't mean you're a Brewers fan because if suddenly next year they have a bad season (which I doubt they will because they are adding some stellar players to their roster) you won't be fans of them anymore. So get the fuck out the bandwagon and either become a real fan or STFU.
Of course the next big thing surrounding the Brewers was the leaked information about the positive test of Ryan Braun with high testosterone. And almost instantly nearly everyone took to their twitters and facebooks to express their disappointment in Ryan Braun for using steroids and everyone just assumed he was guilty because frankly they knew nothing about anything. A true Brewers fan would NEVER jump to a conclusion like that because first of all, Ryan Braun is the last guy who would ever do steroids and secondly, innocent til proven guilty. Ryan Braun has way too much of a love for baseball to ever fuck up his game by doing steroids, I mean he signed with the Brewers til 2020 because he loves the atmosphere of Miller Park and how amazing the fans are. Too bad half of them are shitty fake fans who don't know shit about anything and they assumed he really did use steroids. Ryan Braun won the 2011 NL MVP and deserved all the votes he got and you think that guy would have done steroids? Fuck no.
So all of you fake fans who jumped on the bandwagon, get the fuck off or become a real fan.

Michelle Duggar, 2004's, Young Mother of the Year?
Michelle Duggar is the mother from the show 19 Kids and Counting and is even more recently being talked about in the media due to her miscarriage she just had.
Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar were married in 1984 and decided to wait to have children, and used birth control. After 3 years Michelle Duggar got pregnant with their oldest son, Josh, and after giving birth, again continued with birth control. Shortly after Duggar got pregnant again and had a miscarriage and then blamed the birth control for the miscarriage and discontinued birth control use. She explained it by saying they "decided to allow Got to determine the number of children".
As mentioned, the Duggar's have 19 children, who's names all begin with the letter 'J'. Their names and birth dates are as follows:
In 2009 Michelle Duggar gave birth to their youngest daughter, Josie, at age 43 during an emergency C-Section. Josie was born 3 months prematurely and only weighed 1 lb, 6 oz. After 4 months in the hospital the Duggars were able to take Josie home but 2 days later she was readmitted to the hospital when her vitals began to drop. Then on June 23, 2010 Josie was finally able to go home, 6 months after being born. In May 2010 Michelle Duggar was quoted saying,
Now, I would first like to state the fact that I am not a very religious person so I don't understand the underlying connection the Duggar's may have with God, but I do believe that God would not continue to give you more pregnancies if you last one was already a risky pregnancy in which your child almost died!
After the age of 35 a number of risks go up significantly versus having a child at an age less than 35. For example, the odds of your child being born with a birth defect at age 25, 1 in 1,250; at age 30, 1 in 1000; age 35 1 in 400; at age 40, 1 in 100, and at age 45 (Michelle Duggar is 45 years old) 1 in 40. And miscarriage rate at age 45 has increased to more than 50%, that means more than 1 out of 2 pregnancies at age 45 end in a miscarriage.
I understand that they might not believe in birth control, and that "God wants them to have all these children" but why would God give her these children and then have the pregnancy be risky or end in miscarriage? That makes absolutely no sense to me. And as a 45 year old woman, your doctor is obviously going to tell you your risks when you come in and are pregnant. I know she was told about her risks with her last pregnancy, and I am sure the doctors clearly told them the risks with this last pregnancy. And I think there comes a point in time when you need to put a belief aside and perhaps use some birth control so you don't end up getting pregnant and having such premature children or worse, lose the baby. Now, I am a very pro-choice person, but I honestly consider Michelle Duggar losing this baby as bad as abortion. She basically killed the child simply because she is too old to be having children. With a statistic of >50% of pregnancies at the age of 45 ending in miscarriage, why would you even allow yourself to get pregnant? Just stop having sex then if you aren't going to use a form of protection from getting pregnant. And not to mention that her last child was born 3 months premature and almost died too. I didn't read anywhere about the Duggar's views on abortion but I assume they are pro-life based on their other beliefs so it makes me wonder if she even realized that by getting pregnant at her age and losing her baby, she is killing a child because there was more than a 50% chance that her child would miscarry. I really hope this miscarriage finally knocks some sense into Michelle Duggar's head and she does not become pregnant after this. You are a 45 year old mother of 19 and a grandmother of 2, stop having sex and trying to have more children because you are way to old to be conceiving.

"It is something we've been praying about because we do love children. Each child really is a gift and that doesn't mean just our children. We asked the Lord to give us a love of children the way He loves children. That is something that we've prayed about, and we'll just see what the Lord has in store for our family in the future"On November 8, 2011 on the Today Show the Duggar's announced that they were pregnant with their 20th child, and one month later on December 8, 2011 they announced that Michelle has miscarried. She was about 19 weeks along at the time.

The Duggar Family.
